All is right we’re here on the island and enjoy a seaside lunch at D’s Beach bar. Fish tacos and cocktails.

JetBlue flight out of JFK departed at 6 AM arrived at 9:30. For anyone who has a brand new passport or a passport that they’re using for the first time in Saint Martin you cannot use the kiosk. The kiosk would not take our passport so we had to go to the immigration officers.

Thanks for the headsup regarding new passports. I guess that will be us in June, as we should have new passports by then.

What's the problem with the new passport?

TSA officer said new passports won’t work in the kiosk machine you had to go to immigration officer. I tried twice on both times we got red or pink message which says go see immigration officer.

Mine worked fine. Issued in September and used for the first time in SXM a few weeks ago.

I had problems with my 7 year old passport on 3/17. Tried 3 different machines with assistance from one of the helpers. Finally got it to read by pressing down firmly on the spine of the passport. The full page needs to be flat against the window.

Is yours that new digital one I've read about?

I got a new one in October and it also worked fine at the kiosk. I thought I'd have to step into the other line because it was shiny and new lol, I was surprised that I didn't.

D's Beach Bar is terrific and I love the ease of parking there. Right on the beach, and terrific view.

I've heard that about the kiosk last week! I hope the weather is good 4 u.
