Hi All,
We snorkeled at Monkey Pt off of Guana island yesterday and saw a very large lion fish. We tried to call the number in the cruising guide to report it but could not get the call to go through (284-442-7783). I tried entering it both with and without a leading +1.
Anyone know any other way to report it? On JVD now and thought we would stop at the dive shop and tell them.
If anyone wants to go looking for it, it was last seen in the back right corner of the cave down low and under a rock. All we saw was the beautiful ‘feathers’. It is camouflaged well.

They gave up on the Lion Fish thing a long time ago. They are everywhere now. The one thing that might have helped they refused to do and that would have been to allow tourists to take them.

That is too bad. We did stop at the dive shop on JVD and he said they would take care of it. Not sure what that meant. Bummer to hear they gave up trying to remove.

I see dozens diving each week. With a simple Hawaiian sling I could pop them left and right! They are actually quite tasty!
