Opted for Captains last night and was pleasantly satisfied. They were very busy and I can see why. Best BBQ we've had so far. Then off to Hollywood where we made a withdrawal rather than a deposit which isn't our usual norm. Have reservations for loungers and lunch at Orange Fever for today.

Orange Fever is good. The Mahi burger is decent also. In March I opted for the special, which was a lobster roll.

The last time we went to Captain's, it took forever and it wasn't good, so we haven't been back. Good news for you re Hollywood. So, what were the table limits on blackjack?

Didn't look at tables for blackjack but will eventually. Captains have changed back to the better. We'll be back for sure. Service was fine.

We went there twice during our trip in February and BOTH times the ribs were great and will definitely be going back in the future.

We visited Captain's on Thursday last week. Because it was "all-you-can-eat" night, it was very crowded. There was live entertainment (two guys singing over recorded music). We found the music good, but too loud for our taste.
The food was also good, but not great. Ribs were dry-rubbed and a bit too salty for me (did not stop me from eating!). The BBQ sauce was... meh.... nothing great. Kinda runny and lacked much flavor.
Service was sufficient. Two of us skipped lunch, and took advantage of the ribs special, and we were surprised that both the initial plate and the refill ribs were full slabs. So... guess what we had for lunch on Friday!
I might return on my next visit, but if I do, I'll arrive early enough to sit away from the amplifiers that the entertainers had set-up (sitting closer to the food truck is quieter).

Bill....
I LOVE Captain's. I think they are at the top fo the best three ribs on the island. The regular portion of ribs is almost impossible to finish, so I have never bothered with the ''all u can eat''. and have always brought some leftovers home for lunch the next day.

I can't handle all you can eats anymore. Just a regular plate is plenty for me. I usually help my wife with hers and have regrets afterwards. 😉
