Thanks, glad you enjoyed Lee's. Val is a really good guy. I ate at Lee's 3 times on my last trip.

At one time we ate the grilled fish there, until we found out that it was Swai from Southeast Asia.
The fish is native to the Mekon River. That cured us, hope you got something different.

I used to think that too until I had ribs at Captain's Rib shack. Lee's is now second.

I believe the Swai sold is farmed raised in a controlled environment . Non the less it was incredibly good and will have it again.

Your choice, not for us. Where do you think they get the water for the farm raised fish, the swamps are no better than the Vietnam rivers.
My nephew died from agent orange used there.

FWIW, I had wahoo at Lee's a couple weeks ago. It was rubbery and over-cooked (especially compared to the wahoo I had at Astra. THAT was great).

Although I ate it, I will not likely order any fish there again. I'll probably try the ribs on my next visit.

Yeah, not sure Swai is what I’m seeking on a tropical Caribbean vacation.

Always heard about those famous fingers , but never had em. Feel very lucky now. I gurantee if that’s true sales would drop like a rock if the named em ā€œSMYC Swai Fingersā€

I wonder what went into the old fashioned "fish sticks".

Shark cut in rings has been a substitute for scallops and Pacific Pollock for fish and chips along with imitation crab and shrimp. Use your imagination for what else can be substituted.
