We are flying out today after our first week ever visiting anywhere in the Caribbean (we chose St. Martin). We've had great weather and stayed on the Dutch side, but spent our days on the French side. We'd give Anse Marcel a slight nod over Orient Beach, mainly due to calmer water and no sargassum, but we alternated and loved both. Favorite restaurants: La Trattoria and Calmos Cafe. Everyone was great to us and we look forward to coming back. Thanks to everyone who offered advice prior to our trip.

We don't know yet, but it probably won't be within the next year. My daughter loved it and will be pushing for it - she's graduating college in December and should be getting "off the dole" which will free up even more travel funds, so fingers crossed.

Ain't that the case. My oldest is nearly 30 and coining it in AI and he's still expecting me to buy all the drinks...
