Bizarre question...does it unload passengers from the plane off the back or front or both

Port side front using steps, if I remember correctly.

Port front sounds correct. It's not a very big plane. I understand all the AA planes arrived at the same time yesterday.

We flew back yesterday, it’s definitely front port side. Two afternoon AA flights did arrive within 5 minutes of each other, lots of people on the “earlier” flight were concerned about connections. Glad we chose the later flight.

I flew out on the 2pm flight yesterday. We departed a bit early and arrived 20 minutes early. Gave us a little extra time to make the long march to customs!

For me, I now take the ferry to STT, go thru immigration in STT and then fly to Miami and walk off the plane to my next plane. This works for me as it eliminates the long march in Miami if I go EIS to Miami. Coming in, I fly Miami to EIS

STT was always a mess leaving...has it gotten any better?

We all have preferences… Our’s is to leave the Moorings base about 10:30 am or 11:00 am. We drop our bags at BVI with someone we know there - walk to Marche for lunch on the water - and then fly out early to mid-afternoon. With global entry, we are typically through the process in Miami in 45 minutes to an hour. Most importantly for my wife and daughters, we don’t sweat, we don’t have sea spray from a boat ride, and we aren’t starving after eating a good lunch at Marche.

With this said, there is a pretty good place to get a salad/sandwich in the corner of the STT terminal, and there is a good bar in the other corner of the terminal (if you need more alcohol after a boat trip 🤠).

As I said, to each his own, this just works for us.

Yesterday Pam and I arrived at Beef. They sent out a golf cart to pick us up at the plane and bring us to the terminal, where they placed us at the front of the one. Way to go, staff at EIS

One time we had a short connection in Miami, when the train was not running. We requested transport, thinking they'd send a golf cart. Got off the plane to find wheelchairs, which we didn't need. We hiked and made it.

We got off in Beef Island and there were two wheelchairs waiting. I gave my name and asked if it was for me. She rather rudely refused to tell me! No one used those wheelchairs, so I'm pretty sure they were for us. I didn't want a fellow passenger to see me leaping onto our boat in Trellis Bay after getting wheelchair priority!

Are you still using Starlink? For me they have left me alone and the downlink speed is 300 + Uplink about 30 Works great.

Only transport sized planes I've seen that board in the back are the ATRs. They have a baggage compartment between the cabin and the cockpit.

They boarded in the back on AA from MIA to STT this year. Twin jets, either 737s or Airbus 300 series. Maybe even deplaned there too?
Maybe even Delta on a second trip? I don’t recall that one.
No AA ATRs in years.
