STT airport has stopped requiring customs/immigration forms to be filled out. Just use your passport. About time! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

Has anyone experienced this wonder in person yet? Not that Thorny is old, rather the "no customs forms" If this is also old news. I will then jump, no shuffle, up on the "old" bench with Thorny.

Yes. I went thru on September 7 and they mentioned it was the first day for no forms.
Now I just wish they could figure out to not make me go thru immigration twice when I fly from Anegada and connect to a U.S. flight...

Worked for me on the 14th. I was at the gate for my early flight ten minutes after dropoff.

I assume you still need to fill out the papers when you leave Tortola going into the ferry dock in St Thomas?

I would not get to excited about not having to fill out the customs form. It took about two minutes to fill out the form usually while standing in line. It does not change the process in any way.

G I agree with that !! and never understood what the problems were -- unless there were no forms available?

Getting forms required you being prepared with a form before you hit the airport or going up to the airline counter to get a blank (long wait). We started preprinting the PDF and life was easier. We'll still need these for check in. But, maybe not, we got our SVRS registration finally.

As I said before..if you do still need a form and come in by ferry..get 2 at the BVI dock..fill both out on the boat and fly thro STT airport C and I while others line up for a form and then jam the walkway filling em out..

So the question still remains...DO you need to fill out a paper form when going through customs at the airport in STT?? OR do you simply need one for customs at the STT ferry?

As I mentioned, I went thru STT on September 7th and no form is required. A form is still required at the ferry dock.
