It has been a while since we have been in Virgin Gorda but are looking into a trip for May 2017. I know it's far in advance, but I am a planner, and anticipation is so much of the fun. Any recommendations for villa rentals? We have previously stayed in a Villa in the Leverick Bay area, but would like to be closer to town. Would really love Mahoe if affordable. It is only my husband and I. Would love to hear your ideas.

Check out Guavaberry Spring Bay. Near the Bath's, only about a mile from "town." Seven beaches in walking distance. A commisary for food/beverages (hint, hint) and a great staff with daily cleaning, and a laundromat. Oh, and wifi and computer's to access your personal accounts. Oh, and I forgot the puppy dog's...they will love you and go swimming with you...google their web page. Maybe you don't need a big villa. We stay in a one bedroom cottage with great view's of Sir France Drake Channel and the sunset. Sigh! Is it May yet?

We love Guavaberry Spring Bay. We don't need a/c or a pool, but get a bit jealous walking past the beach front spots with pools.

Cheers, RickG

Keep in mind that Guavaberry also manages some of the villa's with pools by the beach. So, there you go. Oh, and don't forget the puppy dog's...plus, Guavaberry is one mile from "downtown" and we have walked it many times. Plus the "cash and carry" just past the school which is the island version of Costco. Or, can you say cheap wine and liquor??? We love Guavaberry...

GSB also manages "deluxe rental villas" at http://www.guavaberryspringbay.com/virgin-island-villas

None of the GSB cottages have pools or are on the beach, but all are a short walk to a beach and you drive through their security gate with the passcard they give you and park at the beach.

Cheers, RickG

Most villa owners give rates so as to encourage smaller groups. My villa has a $2800/week rate for 2 persons in May so that makes it affordable.

Guavaberry Spring Bay has a great web page. Check it out. Photo's of cottages and the villa's they mangage. Many of the villa's have pool's. Doesn't matter where you stay at GSB, the beach is close by. We love it. The only problem is that it isn't May yet...
