Thinking of Friars Bay for today. Have not been there in awhile and was wondering if they give you free chairs if you buy lunch and drinks? If not, does anyone know the cost?

Friar's Bay Beach Cafe, not Kali's, gives free chairs if you eat there. They charge a few dollars if you want pads on those chairs; last time I was there it was $3 each for those. Take cash, as the restaurant doesn't accept credit cards, and take plenty; it's not cheap, but worth every dime.

GaKaye is correct regarding the free chairs and umbrellas at FBBC. They are the hard plastic chairs and I believe I read somewhere recently the chair cushion rental price is up to $5.00 each, but they are more than worth the expense. This has long been a favorite luncheon beach for us and as already stated, bring cash as it is not inexpensive and they don't accept CCs.

Respectfully,

pat

Always our go to place, the chairs, umbrella and table are cheap and discounted if you eat lunch there. Food is plentiful and very good. Cash only.

Also a short hike from there to Happy Bay!
