As others have said, check out the sponsors section for Insure My Trip. They compare cost and coverages across MANY different companies and help you find the best fit for YOU. They provide all different kinds of travel insurance, including medical, trip interruption, cancellation, etc. For medical evac ONLY, check out sponsor Sky Med, which provides medical evac all the way to your HOME, versus the nearest medically acceptable facility, which could be very far from your home. For EITHER Insure My Trip, or Sky Med, if you end up booking through them THROUGH THE LINK HERE ON TTOL, we get a small commission. (And it doesn't cost you any more.)

awesome thanks all. I was thinking insure my trip but wanted to have my memory jogged, now i remember going through the sponsor part because you said the same thing to me last year carol!

There is a separate listing for general sponsors, on the main page there. Don't click on the SXM sponsors.

Carol, When I click on the "TTOL Sponsors" at the top of this page, the second listing that shows up is Insure my trip, and the third listing is Sky Med.
