As far as dry run, it wasn't a dry run of the whole party. At various times I have tried out the recipes I'm going to use, and last night I did the carving of the pineapple and the red cabbage. This is a business open house, so I wanted to make sure I didn't embarass myself too badly if something came out bad!!
