Booking a July charter on a Moorings 514PC soon. I’m told by my broker and note on the Moorings website there is a mandatory 3 hour “friendly captain” on the water practical checkout required with this boat. Does anyone know what this entails? Just want to know what to expect and brush up on if need be. Got me a little stressed. Did a week on the 433 power cat last year and it was a breeze. Also, it’s in the 3-5 year old level. Any good reason to upgrade to the newer 1-3 or o-1 level? Trying to save money, sleep aboard already insanely expensive.
