We chartered a monohull from TMM in January, and upon returning to the base I spotted an easily accessible slip. When I headed for it, one of the staff waved me off and directed me to the slip where they actually wanted the boat, which was in a corner and very tight. He talked me through the process (a little reverse, wheel all the way to port, a little forward, etc.). My hands were pretty much an extension of his brain, and in the end we glided backwards perfectly into the narrow space between the finger and the next boat over. He was awesome!
