Interesting! Mine were smooth & almost the size of poblanos... And even after roasting they were as mild as bell peppers. The ones I grew last year were the ugliest jalapeños ever, and they were like FIRE!
Will have to keep testing that, but it sounds about right to me!
If I can't be a good example, I'll just have to be a horrible warning.
