Marine Max based a number of their boats at Scrub for many months and it seemed to work fine. Scrub did a lot of the provisioning directly, although that proved a hassle for the staff. You are correct in saying that running to Riteway would involve a cab, although maybe Scrub’s own market will carry more, and Trellis Bay Market is also there, as is Aragorn and his Good Moon boxes.
It will make flying into Beef a way better option than STT. You can even arrive on the late flight without any problem. Ask if the Scrub dock shuttle is available to you. I don’t think the ferry will be an issue. They seem to be running a second, new boat as well.
The holding tank thing is a big concern, but Scrub does have waste treatment, and their main beach is right there, so they have an incentive to keep it clean.
