Haven’t stayed at Rainbow but we usually stay in the general area and find it to be a great location. It’s easy access through the French lowlands to Marigot and points beyond and if you’re a CO fan, you’re almost directly adjacent to the various Cupecoy beaches but if you tend to be more of the textile type you’re a bit of a hike but a nothing drive to Mullet Bay Beach.

There are some great and mostly relatively inexpensive places to dine in Jordan Village which is basically across the street from you and if you’d like more upscale dining, you’re a short drive to Porto Cupecoy.

The traffic is usually better when going to the French side from this area than it is if you’re heading to the airport and the causeway. And speaking of Jordan Village, there’s BarCode, Jules Bakery, the Spaghetti House, a couple of pizza places and several grocery stores all very close, many not even requiring a car to access them. You’re also a very short ride down the hill and around the golf course to The Maho area and whatever is going on there.

Personally speaking, I think it’s a perfect location, and what little I’ve seen of Rainbow itself, the units are nice. If I landed there eight unseen and with no advance knowledge of the property, I wouldn’t be let down at all.

Respectfully,

pat
