I got gas this morning at the Texaco in Simpson Bay and used the self serve option as there was a line at the other pumps. This necessitated going inside to pay first. It appears they do take credit cards for a minimum US $15, although I paid cash.. I was not aware of this but perhaps it is nothing new.

Also while in the store I noticed what looked like a UTS/Chippie top up machine alone with a TelCell machine. The UTS/Chippie was not there in March as I was looking then and went there. I swiped my card and was able to check my balance..good deal as this is a good option for anyone staying in this area. While the machine at Tech Hub was the only one I found previously that actually worked, I was glad to see this option in Simpson Bay. Not sure of other locations but I can verify at least two working machines.

I talked to a couple who went to Lee's last night. They said it was as good as ever and they were one of six cars that found parking beside or in front of the restaurant. He said it appeared Lee's was getting a lot of business for the nearby resorts. He said he did not see any cars going up the hill where there are supposedly more parking spaces.

Every morning I have driven by Royal Palm the parking in front and towards Roxxy Beach has been full as has parking across the street. I saw several that appeared to be construction workers heading towards Royal Palm. I am thinking MAYBE Diamond Resorts actually does have a fair number of workers on site now. One can only hope at this point.
