I believe JB mentioned they will be giving some sort of compensation for the inconvenience yesterday but as I’ve often stated - it’s not the problem itself but the manner in which it’s handled that makes the difference.
These things can and do happen with most larger carriers on occasion but I firmly believe, had this been handled differently it would have been so much more tolerable.
And I forget to mention, one of our shipped suitcases was damaged somewhere between SXM and JFK. There were no JB baggage people there to speak to at 3 am so I guess it’s just too bad for me.
Note to self - just for hahas, call JB about damaged bag tomorrow and see what they have to say.
