Fortunately we have never had towels stolen from beach chairs anywhere. When we go for walks or lunch we always leave towels and other things on our chairs, but never electronics or anything of value. We always secure the towels with clips, but perhaps we need to place a large sign there saying"DO NOT REMOVE!" Grabbing things that don't belong to you seems to be a right amongst some, such a shame.
