On our very first trip together, we did not rent a car for the first several days. We enjoy gambling and each night, we would sample the various casinos taking a cab from the Maho. Lots of cabs in the Maho area, not so lots at 2 am at the casinos we visited. I can't tell you how many times the Security guards or employees coming off shift at the casinos carted us back to our hotel and wouldn't take a dime even for gas money.

We had another instance where we rented our first car and forgot to turn off the headlights deadening (sic) the battery. We were heading to the big Carnival parade over to P'burg. The security guard at Maho tracked down a buddy of his who had cables at home. His buddy drove to his home, retrieved the cables and off we went.
