That has been reported a couple of times here before. They were working on it when we were on island at the beginning of June. Personally I don't see anything wrong with it. Simpson Bay needs parking. Much better than building another restaurant or store..

As far as the size, I assume, without knowing, that the property next to it was not owned by government, so they couldn't make it bigger.

Not all progress is bad. So very true, Paul. In that area in particular I'd far rather see a much needed parking lot as opposed to another high rise development. And I remember how negative I was towards the idea of the Boardwalk when its construction was first proposed, and yet today, I think it's a wonderful addition to downtown Philipsberg. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
