Is Sunset charging for parking now? If so, does Tacho Macho validate parking?

For a while there has been a fee to park in the lot but you can get it validated at Sunset. We did that our last trip
Don't know about other venues re: validation

I thought they hadn't been charging in the summer. Was wanting possibly to get carry out from Taco Macho..

I'm actually figuring if there are no ships in, they probably don't charge right now.

When we were there we had to be validated with no ships in. Shoots that theory down.
