The bulletin board has many posts on all types of topics. One of the features of this bulletin board is your ability to perform a search on words, titles, phrases to bring up a listing of posts that may have the answer you are seeking.

To do a search, go first to the board that you believe will have the answer that you are looking for, click on the Seach button on the menu bar. That screen will then already have the appropriate forum filled in for you. You can search all boards, but that might bring up many results that really do not apply to your search so by choosing the appropriate board first it will help to eliminate the non specific search results.

In the next box you can enter the word(s) or phrase that you believe will best fit the topic that you are interested in.

The drop down box below that is where you can specific an exact match, and/or match, etc.

Next choose the date range that might best fit your seach function. For current notes you should use less 6 months or less. We now have over 2 years of trip reports to choose from also.

The default number of displayed notes is 25 per page. This is not the limit of the search but how many will be displayed on a page at a time. You can generally leave this number set as is.

Then hit the Submit button and let the bulletin board find you the results.

The results can vary based on the words/phrase that you choose to have the search performed by. So choose the most likely words/phrases that will cover the question that you would be looking for.
