Elaine-have they put in porta-potties there at Kim Sha?? I would think they would have to. I pity anyone trying to use the bathroom at the Greenhouse or Buccanneer!

He has Potty House and for the Cruise Ships people there is a decent big restroom for them.

Did they build a regular restroom (with flush toilets?) for the cruise ship folks?

That's very good. Is there any thought of putting some real bathrooms on Mullet Bay Beach? Is Rosie back selling food there?

For Mullet Bay that's different. No real bathrooms and we haven't been to the beach since before the Hurricane. But will check on it and let you know. I think that she is there because from a distance I do see beach chairs on the beach with umbrellas. The Kim Sha set up is different.

OK, thanks for checking on Mullet. I know there have not been real bathrooms there since Luis, but I just thought that if the government wanted to take cruise ship people somewhere, Mullet is SO much better a beach than Kimsha and it really would be an improvement to Mullet if there were real bathrooms. But god knows, the government wouldn't want to do something that would improve things for people..

Well , they did the new parking lot before the Hurricane and since Orient got damaged real bad , they decided to use the Kim Sha area. They have also set up booths so that people can sell their stuff.

Yes, I know that they did that, it's just that Mullet is so much prettier than Kim Sha.

Carol....with due respect....SHHHHHHHHHH I would HATE to see Mullett become filled with cruise ship passengers. At least with the catamarans...they come...stay and leave. With busses coming in droves, would KILL the beach for all the rest of us, and will become an other ''Orient Beach''. If they put in restrooms, etc....I bet it would also follow with a bunch more restaurant shacks opening there....the parking will be horrendous...and trying to find a chair will be more expensive, and crowded. My two cents anyways.

According to a blurb in the DH today, there are 8 food and drink vendors and 4 chair operators who have been approved for Kim Sha by the government. I wonder if he is one of them? If not, I bet the others are going to try to get him kicked out..

They've tried to kick him out before, but seems his paperwork is in order. We'll see.
