Be advised that Quick Reply vs. Reply are different now in the new version. If you just type on the Quick Reply box, you will be responding to the MAIN POST. So, if you want to reply to any post other than the ORIGINAL POST in the thread, you have to hit on the REPLY button on that person's post, as otherwise, you will reply to the main post, not the one you intended to reply to.

It's interesting, though, that even if you click reply on a particular post, the box that you type in still says "Quick Reply". That concerned me at first, until I tested it.

Thanks. I didn't notice that. Quick Reply is the default and it looks like there's no way to change that, which is unfortunate, to me.

Agreed. I had changed my settings on the old forum so that quick reply wasn't an option, forcing me to respond to a particular post. I do think it's better that quick reply references the original post rather than the last one, as I'll bet most folks that use that are responding to the first post.
