We were in Bonaire for two weeks and loved that island. It was our first time there, and we loved that island. The snorkeling was excellent with us photographing and identifying 182 fish and sea life species. The reefs come up to the island, so it is easy to find great snorkel and dive sites from shore. The restaurants are wonderful with the strong European influence. The people of Bonaire are all very warm with the Dutch influence very evident. We will be going back next year for sure. Our trip report and pictures are at:

Nice report and beautiful pictures. Thanks for posting. We gave some thought to going to Bonaire instead of SXM this year but couldn't make it work. Based om your report, I think we would have liked it.

Your travel web site is very nice. I especially enjoyed the Sarasota section, as I'm contemplating moving there.
