So we got a late start one morning heading to beach last week like it was 1pm and thought where to eat Good Morning, Yellow Sub, Wai Plage.

Wai Plage it was. Parked and walked in the south side. Given a nice table under main roof.

Ordered/shared chicken kebabs and lobster linguini, carib, diet coke.

Came pretty quickly.

Lobster linquini was thick noodles with a thick sauce and many large and small pieces of lobster.
Good filling portion.

The kabobs looked/taste great just like i like them. But they weren’t warm or hot. They could of put them on the grill for 1 minute and perfecto.

I got the idea they were either cooked and put in a case like european sandwiches. I hope they werent just sitting there to get outdoor room temp.

We ate em and all was well.

Worried it would slow us up to the beach. It didnt.

The wait staff and greeter were great, friendly and tag teamed ordering delivering and checking up on things.

I didnt mention the kabob temp as maybe thats the way they intended it. Looked and tastes greate.

Thanks or sharing this dining experience with us. Can't wait to give this place a try. The last few days the number of people on the SXM forum has been huge (it topped 600 yesterday), so relaying a good experience like this helps a lot of people when it comes to making dining choices.

I have to say, that so far I have been a bit dissapointed in the service received from this new place....and haven't even been there yet. I heard some good things about Wai Plage, and also went on their facebook page. I sent them a quick note, asking about the beach accomodations there, how much for chair rentals, etc....so we can start to plan our annual March vacation. This was weeks ago, and have never received an answer back from them, with such an easy question asked. After a few days of no response, I asked the same question to them again....with the same result...which was absolutely no response to the private message. I did get the notification from facebook that the pm was read....but twice with no response has turned me off already. The food may be fantastic...as others have raved....but what does it take for someone that runs the page, can't take the five to ten seconds to write a freakin' response. Didn't think that is a good way to start a new business venture.
