I had an in depth discussion with a local island friend about some of the local politicians just last Nov. He was born on SXM, has lived there all of his life (58 years) and has about given up on any local politician putting the people first. The perks they get are amazing and they probably lead to more greed.

doesn’t surprise anyone , corruption is bred into anyone seeking public office . They seem to think they are entitled to taking what is Not theirs . The country will continue to struggle under the current formula .
