The comments in the article reveal a lot of ageism and the assumption that signs of age can, and should, be hidden under a bathing suit. I am reminded of the public beaches in Denmark where 3 generations of family members - from toddlers to grandma and grandpa - can get together for a day at the beach nude without others nearby going "Ewwww! Wrinkles! Sags! How gross!! What about the CHILDREN!!?". The sad people of Jacksonville must all have tiny mirrors in their bathrooms and bedrooms as they hide from reality.

You know, with all the current hypersensitivity and concern for peoples feelings, it is amazing how quickly some people will actively seek out a nude beach and then comment that everyone is "gross" Double standard if you ask me. In my lifetime, I have never, ever characterized anyone as "gross", clothed or unclothed.

Americans are hung up over nudity. Brainwashed by TV adds and shows that make them believe that every female must look like a Victoria's secret model and every man must look like they just stepped off the cover of a GQ magazine...rediculous.
