Another place I ate late in my June trip was Jai's. I think this place is terribly underrated as I've never had anything but excellent food there. The night I went, I had a salad and a pasta dish; both were specials so not on regular menu. I neglected to take a picture of the salad so don't remember what it was at this point, just that it was terrific. This is the lobster gnocchi; the lobster is all the white you see in the picture. It was superb. You are really missing a great experience if you don't give Jai's a try.

There's even more in the picture in the gallery on their website - ninth row down. I now feel cheated!

I need to ask a stupid question--what does "contemporary fusion" mean? The lobster pasta definitely looks like a huge amount of lobster though, for sure.

Aloha Linda, I have also heard nothing but good from there, have yet to try it. Possibly this next trip.
I prefer the Isle seat

Their website says the menu is a fusion of Indian and Caribbean flavors.

Ok, thanks. I'm not sure I've ever had Indian food.

Jai's is phenomenal. Always new items to try. Jai is a CIA graduate and has been a terrific new face in the culinary scene on SXM!

Highly creative, innovative fusion cuisine. "Fusion" means that it blends tastes and flavors from around the world. Unique on SXM!
