Just saw this monster of an aircraft arrive at PJIA. Don't know why a Canadian Airforce plane has arrived but it came in from Fort Lauderdale.
Carol, did you see it? It wasn't on the flight schedule.

No good pictures, as I only have some from the side. It's still here. Hoping maybe I can catch it taking off.

It’s probably a training flight. The RCAF has been known to do training flights into SXM in the past.

I'm watching mahobeach cam now, waiting for take-off. ATC just requested a low pass over the field after the C-17 takes off, so people can take photos. Unfortunately, the crew said that will not be possible. Sounds like they are headed south, toward St. Kitts.

They are cleared for taxi. Stand by for take-off.

I'm watching. Hope it takes off from Runway 10, this could be good

Well that was a quick visit. Watched it on the Tortuga cam but unfortunately did not get the beach shot on take off from the camera operator.
Nevertheless pretty cool.
Not sure if it is headed for St Kitts as it just flew over St Kitts at 25,000'
