I wish they'd re-open the Fat Virgin Cafe. And the trail between Biras and BEYC.

Ahh yes...

Seems like the new place is open! Restaurant is called "The Mangrove", and early reviews are that food and service were both "top-notch".

Sadly, as of last year I am no longer actually a "VirginGordaResident" as my wife and I relocated back to the states.

Excited to try The Mangrove out when we are back on VG for 2 weeks in May to visit!

A burger and fries will set you back 46 bucks! Add a glass of wine and you will need to tap the Home equity line of credit!

Hard to beat a good cheeseburger, fries or potato salad and a couple of ice cold Red Stripes....toes in the sand at Smuggler's Cove at Patricia's..all for $20! You can bounce over the hill to Long Bay for their $37 burger or have sushi now upstairs..dont know the $$$.A great burger can be had at "Tramonti' The Sugar Mill beach bar.big , juicy and all the works for $18.For something different..try their Donner Kebab..lamb, cucumber and salad with yoghurt dressing in pita bread for just $10!
And the burgers at "Stout's Lookout" with a spectacular view of CGB are definitely worth trying..as long as the place isnt jammed with badly parked safari buses and picture snapping tourists who dont spend $ there!

Thanks Mal. These all sound great. We used to spend a couple of days land-based on Tortola, either pre-charter or post-charter. We haven't done that for a long time, but you're making me think it's about time.
