ok, Arianna's boyfriend is home....Our cabdriver, Fitzell-not sure of the spelling-arrives...we head out...He's a friendly guy.He makes a stop at Moorings with a package delivery....We head out of Road town, up Joes Hill...there was a safari bus filled with cruisers...3 ships in on that day...the bus was stopped on the side of the road..no break down lanes here...very steep...so, Fitzell pulls off to the side to see if he can help..another cab stops and a couple hops out of the broken down safari bus, jumps into the cab and dashes off...another bus stops to help...meantime, a large white truck comes barreling down the hill at an alarming and reckless speed..What we didn't know was that he had no breaks!! The truck smacked right into the safari bus, spinning it around 360, as the bus slides across the road, with a woman flying out of the open window to the pavement, in obvious distress..other passengers were coming off the bus,injured..Fitzell, shaking, grabs his cell to call an ambulance...after this, Myriah, Fitzell, and I proceeded, somberly, to Agape cottages. He mentioned to us that he hadn't even placed a rock behind a rear tire and that we had been in a precarious position....... We arrive at Agape greeted by Dave, the veternarian, Donna's dad...He lightened our moods by,proudly, showing us his many fruit trees...no lack of fresh fruit on this part of Tortola....grapefruits, mangoes, bananas, lemon..He tended his fruit trees with obvious care..Fitzell munched on some fruit the Dr. picked for him...not only this graciousness soothed our frayed nerves...but the view from our deck filled us with awe...happy to be back...The cottage was a cheery 1 bedroom, living area, full kitchen. Our frig held provisions for breakfast,,,,and a bottle of Cruzan rum. Then Donna came knocking at the door bearing beautiful flowers. She was very welcoming and friendly. I should that Agape is on a steep hill-above Bobby's...a formidable prerequisite to our stay at heartattack hill on Jost...very glad to make my last few days at Anegada..I will continue with our experiences ...Idette
