What a trip...I just got home late last night..San Juan and Logan were in chaos..The blizzard threw everyone and all their baggage into a maze of confusion...I know one thing. Next time I will try the Boston to St. Thomas with ferry to Tortola. I see why alot of ttolers prefer the ferry over San Juan airport. Anyway, I waited at Logan over an hour for baggage handlers to remove our luggage from the plane-AA...Oh, yeah, I also waited at San Juan over a half hour for my very large duffle from EIS...AE...I tried to do carry on, but a 13 day trip.....The 11 person flight that left EIS after us got their stuff way before us....go figure.............Wait, let me start at the beginning of our wonderful trip...First,I highly recommend that folks ,living in cold climates, over a half hour away from the airport, stay at the airport hotel the night before the trip. We stayed at the airpor Hilton and did not have to scrape windshields or get up at 4am..Leaving was stress free...everything went smoothly...Well, the first hour and a half of the flight was bumpy-nothing to inerfere with our moods...We arrived at EIS late afternoon and got a cab to Tamarind Club for our first night...Clint greeted us with his laid back style and a couple of good strong rum punches...This was the area to check in,da bar...We got talking with the guests and became friendly with a woman, Edie, from N.J- she was going to be doing a couple of charters during the month...We didn't know it then but our paths would cross again, greeting each other as if we were old friends...That night we three dined on fried green tomatoes, and a tasty chicken dish...After a day of travel and drinks, we turned in around 9pm.....the next morning we awakened around 8,enjoyed coffee and chatted with a few folks who were headed out on charters.....then, Myriah and walked down to Josiahs Bay...good surfing waves, and a peaceful beach...We enjoyed a couple of beers and headed back up to Tamarind and settled the bill and waited for our cab ride to Agape cottages above CGB. We didn't know then, but this would be a dark ride....I have to interrupt at this moment ,to give my daughter's boyfriend a ride home, and will continue with this a bit later...Idette <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/typing.gif" alt="" />
