A Swain 2012 graduate, I looked closely at Horizon. Friends who have chartered with them have been happy. Some owners less so. I ended up sticking with St. Thomas based charters due to travel convenience and an extra day of sailing.
One of the things that struck me as a negative about some of the smaller Horizon boats was lack of auto-pilot.

I will second Beans: Been bareboating the BVI's since late 90's with pretty much all of the majors. Used Horizon's for the first time last May and it was probably one of the best experiences: Location, staff, and boat.
