Newbergs were all the rage in the 60s. You could substitute just about anything for the mushrooms and have a delicious meal. Lobster, shrimp, or crabmeat would be my favs. Not an everyday meal with all the cream and butter, but sure good for a celebratory splurge <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />
