SonOfTheSea,
Great trip report. Especially since we're using DYC for the first time. I have a few questions. It's sounds like DYC did the boat/chart briefing early morning. What kind of boat were you on and how long did it take? Is topping off the fuel at Marina Cay a typical DYC departure practice? Do know if having a pilot on board out of Scrub and/or over to Marina Cay is typical? Just wondering and trying to get the lay of the land.

Dayhiker,
As your tweaking your schedule, keep in mind the Leverick Bay Poker Run is Sunday the 26th. They'll have +200 powerboats in and out of there and an after party.

Thanks for the reminder. I changed my route today, but haven't checked it against MIT either. I think I'm going to do the following:

Sat: Scrub to JVD. Maybe eat at Bananakeet on Sat or Sun.
Sun: Misc around JVD, CGB, and maybe Smuggler's Cove
Mon: Indians, Caves, overnight either Key Bay or Great Harbor, Peter Is.
Tues: Fallen Jeruslaem and misc stuff, overnight at Cooper
Wed: the Dogs, Hog Heaven, overnight at Leverick
Thur: Anegada, Cow Wreck Beach.
Fri: sail to Monkey Point, Trellis Bay for a visit to Aragorn's, and back to Scrub for the afternoon.

I'm doing 2 nights in JVD mainly because I won't have to be in a rush regardless of when I get off the dock. My wife also wants to try Bananakeet and visit Smuggler's Cove and/or Long Bay.

Crap, I overlap with MIT at Jost (not a big deal) and at Leverick. Leverick probably is a big deal.
