Well we were moving a little slow Thursday after a full day of water sports with peggy and paul. Made it the club O beach which seemed pretty crowded.. Seems like when the Cruise ships are in there is a large number of ships passengers that opt for the taxi ride over to Orient. We had a super relaxing day, enjoyed the company of some new friends Len and Tina. About mid-day we noticed that something in the water was attracting alot of attention, there was small crowd watching a Ray swim down the length of the beach very close to shore.. pretty cool.. We ended the day at the Esmerelda for a small get together and had a close up look a the property and rooms, very nice.. Private pools shared by 2 rooms, nice and updated.. looks like a great place to stay.. Grabbed a take-out pizza from La Pamento (sp) in Orient village, to end the day, it was really good..

Friday was shopping day in Philipsburg and we needed alittle off the beach time.. Driving is always an adventure I usually plan on getting lost once or twice, we parked in the beach public lot and headed in for a full day of shopping and lunch on the boardwalk.. I got to be honest this is not a husband favorite part of the trip, im thinking next time I'll plan a all girls shopping day for my wife and all the husbands will find some alternative activity.. There was just one ship at the dock and the town was full of cruisers shopping for that must have t-shirt proclaiming they found St martin. As we sat and watch the dock side maylay I though these people could have landed on any island anywhere in the Caribbean and it would be all the same to them.. Never really experiencing the island, its people, their story (that's a little deep, better to have this discussion with the bartender) I was glad to leave Phillipsburg behind and get lost a few more times on my way back.. We did round a turn outside of Oyster Bay and found ourselves surround by a herd of grazing Goats, now there is something you don't get everyday..
