So true but many agencies on island add it on to non knowledgeable tourists as an expensive add on. Which is exactly why I mentioned it here. To state that Hertz includes liability insurance in their quote is misleading, and infers a benefit that doesn't really exist, Not misleading but being informative as opposed to others who charge for something that is, if fact, probably included. SO you have a choice to assume it is included by what you read here or HAVE it included by the statements in the rental agreement ...your choice Any agency that has a choice for ADDED liability insurance should be questioned
