Here is the July ferry schedule. No problem waiting until you get there unless you are arriving during Christmas in July, which is at the end of July. For what it is worth I think it is smart to avoid the San Juan puddle jumper. Lots of issues with that lately. I think the only flight I would do is the American flight out of Miami direct to Beef Island.
