Thanks for the detailed trip report. My wife and I along with another couple were in the Exumas for the first time earlier this month as well. We were on a Moorings Sail Cat. We have sailed in the BVI numerous times as well as St Lucia, Grenada, Tahiti, Abacos, etc. We experienced some of the same condition's and concerns that you had (weather, skinny water) but overall had a good trip. Our last day coming back across the Yellow Bank from Highborne Cay to the base was our worst weather day with rain, poor visibility, high winds and with at least one gust over 60 knots. Our favorite area was the Staniel Cay area. Once again, overall we had a good trip and will consider going again with hopes of more settled weather.
