Since you are staying in a villa, you will want to do grocery shopping. Someone mentioned Best Buy - they have good prices, Proctors has the best produce, and Tropical Liquor has the best selection and prices on beer, wine and alcohol.
There is a bakery not far from Shoal Bay East – Le Bon Pain, they get rave reviews for breads, sandwiches and croissants, have not tried them as we have a good one on the W.End - Gerauds.

Be sure to carry cash, gas is cash only and many of the small stores only take cash, or, if the credit card machine is down you will need to pay cash.
Also ferry’s only take cash.
