Peter Island is a great spot to visit for a day and there is never any problem getting the ferry there. Just call in advance to confirm the times so you don't miss your ship's departure time. Let them know how many there will be in your party and they'll add you to the list of passengers. I take my family and visitors there at least 3 or 4 times a year and have never been made to feel unwelcome. Of course, we always defer to resort guests and make sure we aren't making nuisances of ourselves. Go and enjoy it. The spa is a wonderful stop for a pedicure or massage too!
