For years we have been going to SXM in November/December and booking our tickets early with USAIR. We have been checking our future flights in November/December. In the past we booked with USAIR and the airfare was about #730. Now we looked at AA and the fees are about $850, up $120 per ticket. All the merger did was reduce competition and allow AA to raise the prices.
