My wife saw on the Facebook page of Tutta Pasta that it is closing it's door.

Here is what was posted:
We at Tutta Pasta would like to announce to our valuable customers that due to service industry in St Maarten we had no option, but to close our doors. The manager and Uncle Warren would like to thank everyone for their loyal services throughout the years.

Manager and Uncle Warren

Sad if true, we always enjoyed going there.

Oh my goodness!! Another great reataurant loss! We just loved that place, the pasta was fantastic, the service great and the price was right on. We cried when Laguna closed, now this one. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Oh how sad! We love Uncle Warren. Had so many good times there. Pat was so sweet. LaSalle! Oh my. Great place and great people.
Anyone see Warren tell him Michael & Irina miss him.

We will try to hook up with him when we are there and will report back. Patricia hasn't been there in a while, has she?

What is the problem with the service industry? Can we expect additional closures?

That was my question as well, Tim. What exactly is meant by "due to service industry in St Maarten we had no option..."?

Sad about Tutta Pasta. We have eaten there many times. I do still miss Laguna. That was a fabulous place.

We have bittersweet memories. It was our favorite restaurant, we usually eat there twice during our 8 days for the last 14 years, loved the people and the food. Unfortunately, that was the place we were heading when I was attacked last June. I did not want to mention Tutta by name as we did not want people to be discouraged from going there.
It does solve our dilemma whether to go back or not.
Tutta did very little if any advertising or signage we are kind of surprised it lasted this long.
Tutta will be missed.
