Well, just back from our very first long awaited Anegada trip & it was wonderful, first I want to thank everyone on here for giving us all the info we needed to make our trip run smooth escpecially Walker & Big Jim. We flew from newark to St Thomas with no problems & then ferried to St Thomas, was no 1:30 ferry so we went at 4:30, no problem went upstairs on dock & had lunch. Then onto Tortola, this was our 4th visit, saw some changes, been 7 years since we were there, actually saw a mall, wow, anyway stayed at Maria's by the sea which was very nice & clean & walking distance from dock which was nice. Then onto Anegada early next morning & the peacefullness began, soooo quiet & we met the most caring hard working people, stayed at Neptune's treasure which we loved & loved that Pam was there everyday for our morning coffee & sweets, she is a great person, hope everyone has the chance to be with her when there, her pizza's are great to! My husband & I had a jeep which was also needed very much, we explored & explored everyday & everyday found a new beach (with the help of Walkers direction) & we were all alone for hours & fished & sunned all day, was breathtaking & solemn. Can't say enough about everyone we met while there even the other guests, my husband fished everyday all day(thanks again Walker for info) Hope to go back within a couple years, oh & we saw the pink flamingos !! They were flying above the salt ponds & circled down on the water, was so pretty in the sky....gave us chills....in fact the whole trip gave us chills.....anyone needing a place to go to clear your head Anegada is the place. We enjoyed all our meals, Pam's kitchen is #1 with us, at night our favorite was Anegada Reef hotel, but they all offer a nice meal. So thanks again & Merry Christmas everyone & hope Anegada stays the same for a very long time. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />
