We are hopefully leaving on Saturday (28th) for SXM. Is the Perch Light open on Orient Beach and what time are their open and closing times?
Is Cederick doing the beach chairs?
If they are open, have they made any improvements on the porta Potty?
Is Kon Tiki open?

I don’t know but if they are can you suggest a new webcam.

I have definitely seen some reports here that the Perch is open, but not sure of their times. Cedric was operating the chairs, yes. Don't know about the porta potty.

Someone posted here a day or so ago that Kon Tiki just opened. Lots of good restaurants open in Orient Village.

open and operating - not sure about PL's porta potty but if nature calls my advice is go to Bikini Beach Bar, order a beer at the bar, then use the actual toilet-type john

We were there in October. They were open every day except Monday.

We are also leaving the same day out of EWR ( Newark N.J. ) We all ( a group of 10 ) got our PCR test on Monday . The earliest we could get them and still be in the time frame .
4 out of the 5 couples are still waiting for our results . One couple got their results last night ( only took them a few hour ) . Go figure . Not sure how this is going to go . Hoping for the best . We might be sitting at the airport waving our plane goodby .
We all really want to go to SXM , since we got cancelled in April . But with all this uncertainty not sure if it is going to be worth it . Hope all your test come through for you .

Cedric is at Orient renting chairs he charges 15.00 per day Perch has Happy Hour from 1:30 to 2:30 but for some reason never heard the 2:30 bell

Our group of 14 is now down to 8. We too just got our results on Wednesday and got our approvals late Wednesday. We are scheduled to leave early Saturday morning and hope to be on the beach Sunday morning.

Do they still have the weekly rate?
