Friars Bay Beach Cafe just hit 30 years!!!! I think Marys Boon Hotel and Restaurant opened in 1970....that would be 53 years. AMAZING. Maybe the old hotel in town would be the only one open longer ?? If its still open.

Kim--so, he had disagreements with his partners? Don't have any idea if he had partners at Jimbo's.

On the restaurant FB page they listed it as a two dollar sign, but after reviewing the munu, it's more like three and more! $56.00 for BBQ shrimp??? I think NOT! I give him that, he did an amazing job renovating the old Frenchie ludo's!! I'm not sure if people are ready to spend that "Peter Luger" money on the Dutch side!!!
Sand Gravity, got to love it!

We had a lovely evening at NOLA in December, and it was well worth every dime. The bartender is fabulous, the food delicious, and the service impeccable. Jimbo is the face of the restaurant, and his presence will be missed.
