Day 7 started late as I finally slept in today till 07:30 and did not make it to Good Morning as we were getting a ride into Philipsburg with Nick Maley, whom we had rented from and who runs the Yoda Guy exhibit on Front Street. en route, his car broke down but luckily it restarted. Once into town, we went for breakfast (more like coffee & pastries) and then made our way to his museum where we spent at least 2 hours. My husband is a HUGE star wars fan and it was such a hoot to see him so excited! Afterwards, we hiked to Fort Amsterdam and took a tour through Divi Little Bay resort, where we took the timeshare presentation (if we had the funds we would have bought in) great resort with all the mod cons that you could ask for. The view from the fort was incredible, took quite a few photos from there. Made our way back into town and did a little bit more shopping, bought some clothes from Blanc et Nil. Met up with Nick, as he was finished for the day and got a ride back. As it was now only about 16:30, we headed down to the pool for a few hours. For dinner, we walked to the entrance of Mt. Vernon where there was a great roadside meal to be had. On the way back, stopped by our little bar for a few before retiring. Day 8 - Today we had the naked round the island tour w/ Captain Alan. It started off with a hiccup as we had booked through a third party and had arranged transport with them, but they forgot us. We called Captain Alan and he graciously held the boat for us till we arrived (30 minutes late, and they REFUNDED us the costs of our taxi that we had to take to reach them, great outstanding gesture on their part) Boat ride was a little rough till we reached Tintamarre where we swam with turtles and saw a ray. Next we swung by Orient Bay and all the other nuders waved us on! We then stopped just off of Pinel where you can stand in water no higher than your ankles in the middle of the sea. Then off for lunch with Danny at Happy Bay, ribs were GREAT. After Happy Bay, we continued on our tour around the island and we saw all the other beaches that we did not make it to ourselves. This was truly the highlight of the trip. For dinner, we got a ride back from FLYERGUY (Matt) and we showed him the pizzeria at Mt. Vernon. Tomorrow is our last full day and we have dinner plans for Claude Mini Club, we were going to go to Le Santal, but unfortunately they suffered from the hurricane and were not going to be open. Cats had left over sausage this evening with some milk as they were ignored this morning
