We love CGB, just stay on the boat while (if) there is a cruise ship in, they are usually gone by 2:00.
We love listening to Quito, the BBQ at the Elm and the Elmtones, breakfast at Rhymers. Myett's happy hour. Beach hopping to all the bars.
But, as mentioned, don't go if there is a north swell.

If your only concern about Marina Cay is the ferry, I really wouldn't worry about it. You can pick a spot in the mooring field where you are not on the edges and the ferry won't go by you so close. We've never found that to be a problem.
Each location has its attractions though. CGB has one less for us with Green VI glass blowing moving to Bitter End. We really loved stopping to check them out and see what they had and would typically bring something home with us.
If we could only do one, I'd probably go with Marina Cay as we love snorkeling Diamond Reef.

We haven't been waked at Marina Cay and the ferry. We usually anchor between the mooring field and the reef and its quite pleasant. Pussers has better service and food on our last three visits.
We also love late afternoons and sunsets from the beach at CGB and that beautiful peachy light. Great for photos and beach walks. Perhaps a pint or too as well.
Cheers, RickG

tradewinds said: We were at Quito's for Happy Hour 2 weeks ago and had a great time. They have some good drink and app specials. ...what an awesome two nights we had at CGB...The Elm., then Quito and the edge....love the nightlife there...we were there during a swell but got tucked it in the right spot.......the repaired dinghy dock was great but watch things carefully if a north swell is on...a few dinghies ended up under the dock . potential for damage
